A panel presentation focused on investing, insurance and financial planning and the way in which changing laws and the economy are impacting those areas. This program is one in a series of five programs focused on finances, this series is replacing our former program, Financial Education Day.

In lieu of Financial Education Day, the committee is developing a series of programs focused on you and your finances. This first program will provide an opportunity for you to hear from a panel of experts on the topics of investing, insurance, budgeting, and credit. The panelists will speak to how the current economy and changing laws are impacting these areas. The audience will have an opportunity to have their own questions answered as well. Your questions can be submitted at the time of registration or the day of the event. Panelists include:

Panel Moderator: Marcia Kaplan, CFP, CRPC, RICP
Financial Planner, Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc.

Insurance: Mark Brownstein, CSA
Certified Senior Advisor, Emerald Medicare

Budgeting and Credit: Chris Dlugozima
Community Educator, GreenPath

Investing: Anthea Perkinson, CFP
Certified Financial Planner, Monterey Associates LLC

The panel presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. and last approximately 45 minutes. Following this presentation, panelists will be available to answer individual questions.


The event also features an opportunity to schedule, 15 minute,  1:1 consultation sessions, with professionals working in the financial sector. 
Consultations will be available in two sessions: 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. OR 7:30 - 8:30 p.m.

If you are not interested in attending the panel at 6:30 p.m. you can choose to schedule a consultation for our first session 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. If you plan to do plan to listen to our panelists, and would like an opportunity to have your questions answered privately, please choose the 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. session. 

Please note, private sessions will be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. We will accommodate as many participants as possible but please be sure to register early.
