Workshop Description
Changes in the ways we communicate have made it possible for many small businesses to operate out of our homes.  Creating a productive work space at home can be trying.  Our panelists will focus on the challenges of working from home - physical as well as psychological and provide  guidelines about how to maximize your productivity from the comfort of your home.

 Ethan Chazin
the Founder and President of The Chazin Group LLC.  Mr. Chazin brings 20+ years in Corporate America in branding, marketing, and communications expertise. He formed his own business coaching/management consulting firm and authored the book: "Bulletproof Your Career in These Turbulent Times.”

Mr. Chazin deliver training and professional development programs, conduct motivational talks to organizations, provide one-on-one and group-based executive coaching, strategic advisory consulting, and human resources consulting services.

As an executive recruiter and career coach, Ethan has helped 12,000 job seekers find employment. He has taught courses on business, leadership, entrepreneurship, marketing, branding, social media, internet marketing, and business communications as a professor at New York University, Fordham University, Baruch College, Hunter College and St. John’s University. Ethan conducted career exploration/work readiness programs at over 50 colleges and Universities.

Ethan coaches organizations to successfully transform using talent management and people-focused strategies, by teaching organizations to apply WHY and WHAT IF as their culture. Organizations Mr. Chazin has worked with include: Calvin Klein, Goldman Sachs, the Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, and Brooklyn Chambers of Commerce, Rutgers University, State University of New York, Small Business Development Centers, and the NYC Business Solutions Center.

Mr. Chazin received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from California State University and an MBA in Marketing from George Washington University.

Adam J. Stark is an entrepreneur at heart, with an eye for business innovation. He is president of Stark Office Suites, which offers premium turn-key, flexible office solutions for professionals and entrepreneurs on a full-time and part-time basis out of its eight locations in New York City and its surrounding suburbs.

Adam started his career in 1995 at Wasserstein Perella & Company, an elite mergers and acquisitions firm. Within a few years, he became one of the youngest officers in the company’s history. After the company’s merger with Dresdner Bank, Adam served as U.S. head of the Business Services and Logistics Practice for the investment banking division of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW), New York, NY. During his tenure there, he executed a variety of multi-billion dollar transactions for some of the world’s largest companies, including Ricoh; CSX Corporation; BASF; and Mail Boxes, Etc. In 2004, Adam branched out on his own and founded Stark Office Suites in White Plains. He quickly emerged as a major player in Westchester County’s small business community.


  Ana Espejo


Ana Espejo is an Interior Designer with Gensler, a global design and architecture firm, since 1997.  Ana has worked on a wide variety of projects specializing in furniture and finishes. She has designed reception areas, conference centers, private offices and general office spaces for corporate clients in New York and London. Ana has a strong design sensibility and an expertise in furniture resources. She has extensive experience assisting clients with evaluation of office furnishings, and has excellent relationships with the furniture vendor community.

 Mrs. Espejo received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design from New York Institute of Technology.

Scorpio Rogers is a Professor in the Business Department at Westchester Community College who teaches entrepreneurship, Business and Marketing.

Scorpio is the founder and Managing Principal of Entrepreneurial Consultants, LLC, a management-consulting firm for start-up and growing businesses.  In this capacity he provides consulting services in the areas of: strategy and business plan creation; business principles training; technology evaluation and implementation; tactical management; business valuation; and financing facilitation.  He has partnered with and consulted for various entrepreneurial organizations including the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone, the Women's Venture Fund, the Harlem Venture Group, and the William Jefferson Clinton Small Business initiative where he was recognized by former President Clinton for his service.

Mr. Rogers has a BA in Computer Science and Technology from Dartmouth College and a MBA in Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and Strategy from the Columbia Graduate School of Business.
